
Eligibility
The Save the Wild UP Video Challenge (Video Challenge) is open to all US Citizens age 18 and older. Entrants under the age of 18 must be sponsored by a parent or guardian. Board members or employees and immediate family members of Save the Wild UP, Absolute Michigan or Video Challenge panel of judges are ineligible. All entrants hereby agree to these terms as set forth and as modified by Save the Wild UP in its sole discretion, its agents, representatives and assigns.
Video Submissions
Submissions must be posted online by May 23, 2007 at 11:59 PM EST in the manner specified on this page. By entering your video or videos in the Video Challenge, you agree that Save the Wild UP and its representatives may use, covert, display, market, advertise, license or transmit your video on the internet and/or in other media for any purpose in its sole discretion. No royalties, fees or other remuneration shall be due or paid by Wild UP and its representatives. Credit shall be given to the person submitting each video, who expressly warrants that they have full copyrights to each video. Maximum video length is 5 minutes. Save the Wild UP is not under any obligation to preserve or return any video submission.
Minimum Participation
If there is a marked lack of participation, Save the Wild UP reserves the right to cancel the Video Challenge.
Blogged Videos
In order to promote the Video Challenge and to address the serious threats to Michigan’s water, some of the submitted videos may, at our exclusive discretion, be blogged to this site. The decision of the panel is wholly independent of the content of this blog, and this blog is under no obligation to feature or display any video.
Challenge Finalists
Finalists will be selected from all videos submitted by the Save the Wild UP Video Challenge panel of judges. They will be announced to the Save the Wild UP Action eList on Thursday, May 31 and announced at this web site on Friday, June 1. The panel will be composed of representatives from Save the Wild UP, the film industry and others with an interest in Michigan’s environment and economy. Selections of the panel of judges are final and not subject to appeal. All finalists will be identified by name and agree to make themselves available for media interviews.
Challenge Voting
Voting will be conducted online from Monday, June 4 - Thursday, June 14, 2007.
Announcement of Winners
Winners will be announced on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at The Water Festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Finalists will be invited but need not be present to win.
Save the Wild UP shall not be responsible for any damages, taxes, costs, or expenses that any Winner might incur as a result of the contest or acceptance, receipt of this prize including, all federal, state and local taxes and licensing fees. Winners shall be responsible for all taxes, costs or expenses related to the contest, or the acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use of the prize including, without limitation, all federal, state, and local taxes and licensing fees.
Updates to This Page
Save the Wild UP may make updates to the terms & conditions (posted here) and certainly will make updates to the list of prizes as more are donated.
