Blog Frog
olsonpau says: Lake Superior was particularly beautiful this morning. This is a video postcard attempting to capture the lake it all her rugged majesty.

Today is World Water Day … a good day to think about protecting one of the world's biggest lakes.

The video contest is a great idea.

I hope to make a video to enter. You folks are doing God's work and something meaningful to protect the Upper Peninsula, Lake Superior and our planet. Kudos!

I am local news reporter and volunteer media advisor for the Earth Keeper Initiative and the Manoomin (Wild Rice ) projects.

The projects were founded by Rev. Jon Magnuson's non-profit Cedar tree Institute in Marquette, Michigan and a vital partner the Superior Watershed Partnership in Marquette.

Please check out our videos - and participate in the 2007 Pharmaceutical Clean sweep on Earth Day (Eve) from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday April 21 at 19 free collection sites across the Upper Peninsula.
