Our Friday photos are live and online. This Detroit Free Press article had a little bit of Michael's thoughts about having Phil Donahue at the festival:
An appearance by Phil Donahue, who is making his feature documentary debut with "Body of War" (6 p.m. Thursday, noon Saturday), is a special treat for Moore, who watched Donahue's talk show as a kid.
"He was always asking the hard questions and tackling the subjects that others were afraid of long before anyone else," Moore says. "When I made 'Roger & Me,' he brought his show live to Flint for two full days with just me on the stage and 2,000 people from Flint in the audience."

Why was Phil looking for Bob Peterson, "Utopia", about 15 years ago? Did the government not tell him that he was being well hidden, and disgraced for following executive orders to"keep it out of the press"? Did he join the hog pile on this guy who saved his life too?
