Settign the Spots at the State

Holy cow!

I'm pounding away making concession signs for the venues at the studio and I hear a "HELLO?" from the other room….I look up, it's some guy, but I've been staring at the screen…oh my god, It's Jason Pollack, MM's assistant when we put together FF numero uno….he's just flown in to be on the stage at the STATE, Wednesday night at 9 for his premiere movie.

So I jump up, greet the man and I dash him over to the STATE, where contractors are all over the place like it was last November and we were scrambling against the clock…jeez, just like now! Jason walked into the STATE and broke down in tears at the magnificence of what has been accomplished in side…he was blown away…his memory of the place from '05 was remarkable. It is so cool to see him…so much thinner, the Afro now cut short and so much more relaxed than the pressure cooker he was under inventing the TCFF with us that first nutty Summer of Love!
