Michigan Democrats:

Hello,

I am writing this letter as a Michigan resident, and proud American. I realize as a almost life-long resident here, Michigan has a long standing history of Democratic support. Many Democrats I've spoken with in Michigan feel very disappointed in the way Michigan's Democratic Primary has turned out. For those of you who may not know, two of the major Democratic candidates will not be appearing for you to voice your vote for. Neither John Edwards, nor Barrak Obama will be appearing on the January 15th Democratic primary ballot. It is also quite possible that if you do indeed choose to vote in the Democratic primary, your vote will Not matter! [reference: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22054151/] as the Democratic National Convention is looking at stripping Michigan of its delegates reguardless of the outcome of January 15th.

With that being said. I would like to take this opportunity to urge you, rather than let your voice be unheard this January 15th, to come to the polls on January 15th, and vote for Dr. Ron Paul in the Republican Primary. "Why on earth as a Democrat would I want to do that?" you may ask. Well, the answer is simple. Dr. Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate who stands against the status quo Republicans. With his Libertarian ideals, he has received more donations from our current military personnel than Any other candidate (of either party) He supports your personal freedoms and voted against the Patriot act, the Iraq war, and most of the other questionable actions of the current Bush Administration. There are dozens of other reasons, and if you care to look, I recommend his website as a good place to begin looking over his platform which he backs up with a solid 20 year voting record as a member of the House of Representatives. It can be located at www.RonPaul2008.com .

Once again, I would ask you to consider this in order to let your voice be heard and to let the world know that Michigan, along with most other states in the Union, are sick and tired of these Neo-Conservative, "New Republicans" destroying our reputation, economy, morals, and future place in the world.

Thank you for your time,
Todd Pangle

On the night of Saturday the 17th of november, we were in the woods near Atlanta Mi. At approximately 8:00 pm, the whole woods lit up like daylight and around 8 seconds later a HUGE explosion rolled through the woods like thunder.

This was NOT lightning or thunder. Could it have been a meteor from the Leonids??? Has anyone made any mention of this?? The meteor shower was spectacular from approx 4:00 am until dawn.

Anyone have any thoughts or comments?

If you live in the great state of Michigan, have any older family members getting on in their years and they were able to acquire property assets, you better be leery of the new way the state of Michigan has decided to pay their bills.

"Plenary Guardianship" is the legal tool the state of Michigan and their Gestapo enforcers, the Family Independence Agency are using to steal our senior citizens land assets, sometimes the only assets left from their years of hard work and sacrifice. How are they doing this? If you invite the Family Independence Agency (FIA) into your life by getting meals on wheels, home care assistance, or any other type of assisted living for your loved ones, you have opened the Pandora's box of clandestine reporting and secret files. That is right! Secret reports and then investigations into how much your land assets are worth. If the FIA decides your loved ones have money in land, they will petition the court and remove your loved one(s) from their own home.

How can they do that? The go to the local or county court and file a claim with a Magistrate. They seemingly do not even have to present accurate facts just claim the elder cannot take care of themselves and the executor/family cannot either. Remember, you invited them into your world when you asked for assistance. Therefore, according to the FIA, you must not be able to "handle" the situation. They will come with the local Police Department or Sheriff's Office and take the elder away and place them into "adult assisted living" . You might think that is bad enough, but the FIA has just started their plan. They start their meter running and charge for any and all the things you were doing; paying the bills, cutting grass, taking the loved one to the doctor's, etc. Where do they expect to get the money for all the services they have rendered, the services you previously provided with love? From land that your elders own. In Leelanau County, if the land is real valuable, they work with the Sheriff’s Department and get search warrants and make criminal allegations so you have to defend two lawsuits at the same time.

They cannot do that with a Living Trust? That is the real eye opener. If you have a Living Trust they will go to Probate Court and file for the dissolution of the Living Trust and you; the loving, caring family member to be removed as executor of the family member and eventually their wishes. They even want to control when you see them and eventually might not even let you see them. They are after all, now the Plenary Guardians of your loved ones and their estate.

On December 08, 2003, in an released statement on the FIA' s website www.michigan.gov/FIA Governor Jennifer M. Granholm stated "the FIA is primarily concerned with children and their families, as well as vulnerable adults." The question is: Who and what determines if an adult is vulnerable? The short answer is the FIA and by what ever definition they feel is necessary. The FIA needs to be stopped and the Governor needs to reel in her black booted thugs.

The Governor lets you in to her real reason for the FIA. She signed an executive order in September of 2003 that lists the FIA as an agency that is "designed to promote job creation and economic growth in Michigan………." All on the backs of your loved ones property!
I would of thought the FIA was an agency to assist seniors, not promote job creation.

The Governor's plan at job creation through the FIA and the FIA's land grab plan only works if they attack and conquer the citizens of the state/counties on a one by one basis. I wonder how many other people are going through these tactics or are aware this land grab is going on? We all thought the Supreme Courts decision of Imminent Domain, the taking of private land for tax revenue for local governments, was bad enough. This land grab is much more silent and just as deadly. Be aware and educate yourselves!!

Below is an excerpt of the statement from Governor Jennifer M Granholm about the role and placement of FIA.

Bureau of Family Services Joins FIA
Contact: Maureen Sorbet (517) 373-7394 Agency: Human Services
December 8, 2003
Family Independence Agency (FIA) director Nannette M. Bowler announced today that the Bureau of Family Services, formerly known as the Bureau of Regulatory Services, has been transferred from the Department of Consumer and Industry Services (CIS) to the Family Independence Agency. The shift is one result of a September Executive Order by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm (No. 2003-18) designed to promote job creation and economic growth in Michigan in a more centralized and streamlined fashion.
"This is an appropriate placement," Granholm said, "because the FIA is primarily concerned with children and their families, as well as vulnerable adults.

Hey Andy... Did you hear about Lansing's Old Town? It looks like they have won an IKEA contest that will provide the community with a $50,000 makeover. It's been a rough year for Old Town, or rather a long couple of decades. More than 6,700 Michiganians voted for our little slice of the world and we are really grateful.

Kudos to Grand Ledge and Clawson were also in the Top 10. What a great showing for 3 of the Top 10 towns to be from Michigan!
