I’m not sure when I’ll get the chance but I’ll also see if I can get a Cadillac Evening News from that time also.
Do you have any idea what the date of the crash was? I’m sure it was in the summer, I don’t remember there being any snow. If I see the Westbrook’s, the owners of the property on which the plane crashed, I’ll ask them if they have any articles or other information dealing with this. We’ll stay in touch and keep me posted.

I know there was one fatality. It crashed on property owned by the late Wilbur Westbrook. Wayne Westbrook owns the land currently. It was in a stand of hardwoods in the Northwest corner of Section 18. This is at the corner of 37rd and 6rd. I’m also looking for additional information concerning this crash. I know the Cadillac Evening News covered this incident because I remember my parents reading the article and showing me the picture. I remember Wilbur speaking of this but it’s been so long I don’t remember what he said. If you find any additional information please let us know!
