Great job, promoting Michigan food and travel. It’s a wonderful state, and unique. I love it. You need to promote Michigan more often on cable tv, in my opinion, like the Travel channel, Food channel, and RFDtv. So Americans can learn more about this wonderful state. A lot of people, when they hear the word Michigan, think of Detroit, and when they think of Detroit, they think of bad stuff like high crime rates, murder, robbery, rape, and drugs. Detroit’s reputation has been hurting Michigan since the 1950′s, from what I remember as a kid. I’m so GLAD to hear that you are all getting together to promote the wonderful Great Lakestate of MICHIGAN. There’s no other state like it! And I have a couple food ideas, who can I send them to??

I was very impressed with the whole conference, your article is a great summery of the day, yet one just cant convey enough the importance of the networking that went on, the sharing of ideas, and the positive energy for the beginnings of creating a shared vision in marketing and promoting, of the great foods and talents that Michigan has to offer!
I look forward to the next gathering for sure!

Great job of covering the event! Too bad everyone couldn’t attend all the sessions as the speakers were on point and shared their expertise and vision. Your summary of the sessions was spot on, you captured the essence of all the speakers.
