I absolutely LOVE Patty Pinner’s cookbooks. The recipes are simple
and classic. But what I love most are the wise little stories that
accompany each recipe. This is a cookbook-memoir like no other,I think
EVERY woman ought to have one in her collection. Trust me, nobody can give out a recipe in the womanly way that Patty Pinner can. This book is great for gifting –from mother to daughter, sister to sister, girlfriend to girlfried. Patty Pinner is taking recipes in a whole new “womanish” direction.

This is a FANTASTIC book. I just checked it out at the library two days ago and have nearly finished reading it. My Mom, Mother-in-law and I are ALL buying ourselves a copy of this must-have for women of all ages. The pie recipe selections are filled with variety, and there truly isn’t a single one I wouldn’t want to try. This one is going on my coffee table for sure! I just wish I had the wealth of advice Miss Pinner had all through her life, though with this book, I can glean the wisdom from generations from her family and share it with my daughter as she grows. I’m buying one for my daughter when she is older…
GO BUY THIS BOOK!!!
