Saugatuck Waterfront Film Festival: June 11-14, 2009
Every June, filmgoers, actors, producers and directors come to the resort village of Saugatuck to screen independent films from all over the US. There is a kick off party on June 10 and the festival itself will run June 11-14. Michigan's own Jeff Daniels will be there for the Midwest Premiere of his film, "Answer Man", and Daryl Hannah is scheduled to attend to promote her film, "Fierce Light".

The class uses actual filmmakers like Michigan's Rich Brauer as instructors and retrains people to be able to work with movie crews
