Awesome report from the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival by our friends at Michigan By the Bottle!
The Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival takes place on Saturday, June 18th from 1-10 PM at Weko Beach on Lake Michigan in Bridgman.
It’s a showcase event that allows you to sample locally grown and produced varietals and wines by the taste or the glass from the wineries of the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail: Tabor Hill, Contessa, Domaine Berrien, Fenn Valley, Karma Vista, Lawton Ridge, Lemon Creek, Round Barn, St. Julian, Free Run, Hickory Creek, Warner and Founder’s. Wrap this into a day filled with sun & sand, extraordinary cuisine from local restaurants, jazz, blues, R&B, and a dazzling sunset and you have one fantastic summer festival – ideal not only for wine aficionados but for the entire family! (there’s even beach access for kids to play on beach all day!)

Corrine G. from La Porte, Indiana took home the pair of passes to the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival. She says she's been to Bridgman and Weko Beach many times. Her favorite wineries are St. Julian and Tabor Hill, and while her favorite Michigan wine changes according to the occasion and accompanying food, St. Julian Braganini Reserve Pinot Noir is her current favorite.
