Attend the 26th annual Leland Wine and Food Festival on June 11 at the Leland Harbor and historic Fishtown and in view of the idyllic Manitou Islands. Live music provides the ambience for tasting artfully crafted wines and enjoying delicious cuisine from a variety of local restaurants from noon until 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $15, which includes a wine glass and two tastings of regional wines from Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas. Cruise down the coast one week later for the 6th annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival in charming Bridgman in southwest Michigan. Weko Beach is the destination on June 18 for a day of savoring tasty cuisine prepared by area restaurants and more artfully crafted wines from the southwest region’s wineries. This family friendly festival runs from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. and combines wine tastings for the adults with breezy beach fun, live music and a breathtaking sunset.
