The ride begins in Midland along the Pere Marquette Railtrail all the way to Clare. As the tour unfolds, it winds past Houghton Lake, Michigan’s largest lake, on to Grayling and the AuSable River, by Hartwick Pines State Park, to Gaylord’s Alpenfest, the crucifix at Indian River and Burt Lake State Park. A stop in Mackinaw City and ferry to Mackinac Island and then ends up at the Legs Inn in Cross Village.
