In Class BCD Girls, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep narrowly edged Iron Mountain with Harbor Springs finishing 3rd. The BCD boys title was taken by Harbor Springs, followed by Benzie Central & Petoskey. Spotlight: Arts, Beats & Eats - Festival of Hope, Sept 4 - 7 Pontiac Arts, Beats & Eats - Festival of Hope will feature several new changes and partners for 2009. It will still showcase The HealthPlus Art Fair, one of the top art shows in the US, incredible food, more than 125 bands on six stages, and dynamic and interactive fun for the kids. Pontiac Silverdome - Sold! The Detroit News reports that the long-shuttered Pontiac Silverdome has been sold for a mere $583,000 as the home for a soccer league.
